Hunter Disability Expo 2020

Catch Newcastle & Hunter Community Health at the Hunter Disability Expo 2020

The Hunter Disability Expo 2020 is a unique opportunity for those with a disability in the Hunter. Carers and loved ones can come along, and speak with service providers directly and all in one place.

Over two days, there will be an assortment of disability support, information, services, products and activities available. Newcastle and Hunter Community Health (NHCH) are proud to be an exhibitor at this year’s expo.

The event is being held at Newcastle Racecourse, Broadmeadow on 3-4 April 2020.

Managing Director, Alison McQueen, said that being able to support clients with a disability is a central aspect of their business. So, to be able to be a part of a local expo that highlights this community is special.

“We work with so many wonderful clients and families of those who have a disability. To be able to support the community by attending this Expo is a real highlight for our team,” Alison said.
This year’s expo will have over 100 exhibitor booths from local and national service and product providers, from a variety of categories.

What can you expect at the Hunter Disability Expo 2020 NHCH booth?

For those wanting to come to our booth, you will be able to receive all the information you need about our Disability Care services.

We will be handing out informative brochures and documents for you to take home. Plus, booth attendees will have an opportunity to talk on the spot about their concerns and queries.

NHCH can offer a range of support for families and those with a disability, and the booth at the expo will reflect this message.

We will also be running a few fun competitions for providers and attendees. Our team welcome everyone to take part, as it will be a lot of fun and with great prizes to win.

Inclusions and information for those attending the Hunter Disability Expo 2020

While we recommend you check out our booth, the fun doesn’t stop there. If you’re planning on going along to the Hunter Disability Expo 2020, make sure to leave your money at home; registration is completely free.

Over the two days, there will also be a range of presentations and speakers from Government agencies and Disability Organisations. These speakers will provide insight into disability services and where things are heading for the future.

There will be food available at the Café, as well as break out rooms to relax in. Enjoy a sit down in-between walking through all the fantastic exhibitor booths. For the kids, entertainment & live all-ability performances will be a highlight throughout the expo. We highly recommend keeping an eye on the expo schedule to ensure you don’t miss out.
“I cannot wait to meet and network with the people who will be attending the Expo. We want our message of inclusivity and support to reach as many people as possible. We look forward to being able to do that in April,” Alison said.
