About the role/Job Description
As an Assistant in Nursing you will provide NHCH clients with;
- All aspects of personal care
- Informal Support
- Operation of lifting aids and equipment
- Respite services
- Assistance with household tasks including housework, shopping, meal preparation
- Transport to activities including medical appointments.
- Social support.
Essential Criteria
The Ideal Applicant will have;
- Certificarte III or IV in Assistant in Nursing Disability, or Certificate in Community Services
- Previous experience in a similar role for minimum 3 years.
- Australian unrestricted Driver’s Licence.
- Comprehensively insured, registered, reliable vehicle.
- Criminal record check ( or willingness to obtain same)
- Working with children check ( or willingness to obtain same)
- Current first aid certificate.
- Smart phone and internet access.
- 2 Clinical referees
- Excellent communication skills
- Available for short and long shifts on a rotating roster 7 days per week.
