About the role/Job Description

As an Assistant in Nursing you will provide NHCH clients with;

  • All aspects of personal care
  • Informal Support
  • Operation of lifting aids and equipment
  • Respite services
  • Assistance with household tasks including housework, shopping, meal preparation
  • Transport to activities including medical appointments.
  • Social support.

Essential Criteria

The Ideal Applicant will have; 

  • Certificarte III or IV in Assistant in Nursing Disability, or Certificate in Community Services
  • Previous experience in a similar role for minimum 3 years.
  • Australian unrestricted Driver’s Licence.
  • Comprehensively insured, registered, reliable vehicle.
  • Criminal record check ( or willingness to obtain same)
  • Working with children check ( or willingness to obtain same)
  • Current first aid certificate.
  • Smart phone and internet access.
  • 2 Clinical referees
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Available for short and long shifts on a rotating roster 7 days per week.
