Newcastle and Hunter Community Health founder Alison McQueen is a Registered Nurse with a broad knowledge and skills base covering the public, private, aged care, disability, international and commercial sectors.
In addition to over 20 years practical experience, Alison holds a Bachelor of Nursing (University of Newcastle) and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
She has also attained the Advanced Care Planning Hunter New England Health and NSW TAFE statement in the Aged Care Funding Instrument Training Program. This qualification focused on leadership and coordination, clinical coding, procedure management, customer resolution, DVA assessment and funding tools such as DVA and ACFI, Chronic Disease Management and wound care.
Geoffrey McQueen brings a wealth of
knowledge with over 20 years’ experience in senior leadership roles for small
to medium enterprise and in large-scale industries.
Across his career, he has held operational,
financial, human resource and project related roles which has assisted him in
attaining extensive knowledge of financial and regulatory reporting, risk
management and compliance frameworks.
Geoffrey holds a Master of Business Administration (Human Resource) from the University of Newcastle, a Bachelor of Business (Log & SCM) from RMIT University, a Diploma of Leadership and Management (BSI), and Certificates in OHS, and Training and Assessment.
