Whether you’re planning for help with recovery from a scheduled hospital stay or unexpectedly find yourself incapacitated for a period, let us make home life as easy as possible.
It may be the case that services are needed only on a short-term basis to help you get back on your feet. It may also be the case that over time, the level of services you require to continue living at home gradually increases. Whatever the level of support needed we are here to help.
Whether long-term or short-term all our private services can be secured under self-funding arrangements. From expert nursing care to general domestic duties, all your needs will be covered.
In-home nursing care
Our care team consists of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing and Disability Support workers. All our staff have their professional qualification as well as a criminal record check, Working with Children Check, and First Aid Certificate.
Your individual health care plan, developed specifically to meet your clinical needs, will be reviewed regularly. You can be confident of receiving the nursing care you need when you need it from a professional staff member who has a thorough understanding of your current health status.
Our professional in-home nursing care includes:
- Personal care including bathing or showering and assistance with dressing and undressing
- Continence management or assistance with toileting, help using continence aids during recovery and into the long-term
- Catheter and stomal care
- Wound care such as management of skin integrity, changing bandages and dressings, or applying skin emollients
- Medication management including subcutaneous and intramuscular injections
- Help with nutrition, hydration, and meal preparation
- Mobility and dexterity support, including help with mobility aids
- Organising allied health care such as speech therapy, podiatry, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and hearing and vision services
Also available is rehabilitation support, emotional support, respite care, emergency assistance and transport assistance to assist you accessing public services and specialists outside of your home.
Domestic assistance
Taking care of the day-to-day domestic tasks around your home can be challenging when you’re recovering from injury or illness.
Let us worry about general household cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, dusting, laundry, and help with meal preparation while you get back on your feet.
We can also arrange for your lawns, yard, and gardens to be maintained so that when you are recovered everything is in order, ready for you to enjoy.
Even when you are well, maintaining independence is one of the most important priorities for people as they age. We understand how important it is to feel safe, secure, and independent in your own home.
